Gearing up for another glistening event full of iconic superyachts, Nafplion prepares to open the doors to industry professionals on the latest Mediterranean Yacht Show.
Annually welcoming more than 100 of the most indulgent superyachts on the market, the Mediterranean Yacht Show (MEDYS) proves year after year why Greece should remain a hotspot for luxury yacht charters.
Providing all visitors the ideal opportunity to meet the Captains and crew of the attending yachts, MEDYS acts not only as a visionary board of inspiration for yachting in the Greek islands, but also as a chance to learn from those who know the visiting Mediterranean yacht charters better than anyone else.
Showcasing a staggering fleet of luxury yachts that have managed to obtain a Greek charter license, the Mediterranean Yacht Show is the perfect place to go if you're thinking of owning or chartering a yacht that will explore the East Mediterranean.
Visitors to the show will have access to first-hand tours with the relevant crew or brand representatives, plus there are also some opportunities to experience a sea trial.
Displaying a broad selection of sailing and motor yacht charters, MEDYS regularly attracts many big-name shipyards with visiting fleet yachts from Benetti, Turquoise Yachts, and Amels often seen adorning the pontoons.
With each edition welcoming both returning yachts and show debuts, a fresh selection of luxury yacht charters await each year.
Among the attending fleet for the 2025 edition of MEDYS, visitors to the show can expect to see a total of 23 debuts, including 213.3ft (65m) superyacht charter ARTISAN, 183.9ft (56m) luxury yacht charter SEAKID II, and 165.8ft (50.5m) yacht rental TOTEM.
In addition to the showcase of Greece yacht charters, the Mediterranean Yacht Show also welcomes the return of the popular Chef's Competition, which challenges visiting superyacht charter chefs to put their creative abilities to the test.
Featuring a preset theme each year, past editions have included themes such as Zero Waste From the Greek Seas from the 2023 edition, and Gourmet Beach Food in 2019.
The 2025 edition continues to mix the creative talents of the attending superyacht charter chefs with a set theme of Greek Cuisine: A Gastronomic Journey Through the Years.
Judged by an independent panel each year, the dishes entered into the competition this year will be judged by Chef George Papazacharias and Chef Luca Piscazzi.
The 2025 Mediterranean Yacht Show is scheduled to run from 3-7 May, with opening times as follows:
- Saturday 3 May: 8.30am - 6.30pm, with opening ceremony at 7pm
- Sunday 4 May: 10am - 6.30pm
- Monday 5 May: 10am - 6.30pm
- Tuesday 6 May: 10am - 6.30pm, with Chef's Competition awards ceremony at 7pm
- Wedenesday 7 May: 10am - 6.30pm, followed by crew party at 9.30pm
